Itinerary

Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi - Yangikala

Arrival and introduction to Yangikala. Departure for the Yangikala canyons (approximately 2-3 hours). Photo stops along the way. Arrival at the canyons: walk along the observation decks, enjoying the panoramas of "flaming" rocks shimmering in shades of red, white, and pink. Picnic in the canyons. Drive to the sacred site of Gozli-Ata, the mausoleum of a revered Sufi saint. Return to the camp/guesthouse. Dinner under the stars. Overnight in a tent camp or guesthouse in the surrounding area.

Sunrise and continuation of the tour

Early rise to watch the sunrise over the canyons – a unique spectacle, as the cliffs seem to light up with vibrant colors. Breakfast. A walk to other viewpoints, photo ops, and an introduction to the region's geological features. An optional jeep safari along the canyons. Return to Turkmenbashi. En route, a stop by the Caspian Sea to relax on the beach. Tour concludes.
